Updated: September 2026
The best Korean food in Fujairah comes from two small kitchens about a kilometre apart: Gimbap Korean Food Cafe on Al Faseel Street and KUA House Korean Restaurant in Sakamkam. Both publish full menus with prices, and both undercut our own Dubai menu on most dishes. What the emirate does not have is a Korean BBQ grill. The nearest dedicated Korean BBQ house with unlimited grilling is 119 km away, in Deira.
TL;DR
– Best overall in Fujairah: Gimbap Korean Food Cafe, Al Faseel Street — the widest menu, kimbap from AED 32, stews with rice and three side dishes from AED 46
– Best for tteokbokki, fried chicken and late hours: KUA House, Sakamkam — open until midnight, with a Korean supermarket next door
– Only if you want a table grill: Mukbang Shows Deira, 119 km away — unlimited Korean BBQ from AED 69 before 6 PM, and only sensible as part of a Dubai trip

Is there a Korean restaurant in Fujairah?
Yes — two, and both are in Fujairah city. Gimbap Korean Food Cafe sits on Al Faseel Street, and KUA House Korean Restaurant is in Sakamkam, roughly a kilometre to the west. We checked both on 30 September 2026: each was listed as open on Google Maps, and each had a live ordering page on Talabat with a full priced menu.
That is the whole list. We ran the same search for Dibba and Khor Fakkan, and both returned the same two Fujairah city kitchens. If you live anywhere on the east coast and want a Korean meal cooked for you, these are your two options before the mountains.
It is a short list, but it is a better one than it looks. Several northern-emirates Korean spots publish no prices at all. Both of these do, dish by dish, which is why this guide can quote real numbers.
What is the best Korean food in Fujairah?
Gimbap Korean Food Cafe for range and value, KUA House for tteokbokki and fried chicken. Here is how the three realistic options rank, including the one that is not in Fujairah at all.
1. Gimbap Korean Food Cafe — Al Faseel Street
This is the deeper menu of the two, and the cheaper one. Kimbap rolls run AED 32 for vegetable, AED 35 for chicken sausage and AED 36 for bulgogi, tuna, chicken cutlet, cheese or kimchi. The part of the menu worth the visit is the earthenware-pot section: every stew arrives with three side dishes and a bowl of rice.
Those pots are dak gomtang (a clear shredded-chicken soup) at AED 46, then dak-dori tang, dak-gae-jang, yuk gae jang and a bulgogi pot at AED 51 each, and oxtail two ways, kkori gomtang and kkori jjim, at AED 56. The oxtail is the most unusual thing on either Fujairah menu.
Noodles are AED 37 to 50: creamy chicken ramen, seafood ramyeon and corn cheese buldak at AED 37, jjajang noodles AED 40, cold bibim guk-su AED 41, rose tteok-bokki AED 43 and jjampong AED 50. Korean pancakes are AED 36 to 39. Bulgogi deop-bap is AED 46.
The honest caveats: several staples, including classic tteok-bokki, japchae, bibim-bap and all the fried chicken, show “price on selection” on Talabat because they come in sizes, so you only see the figure once you tap in. It closes at 11 PM. Google lists it at 4.8 from 94 reviews. Phone +971-50-231-0509.
2. KUA House Korean Restaurant — Sakamkam
KUA House is the street-food specialist. Its tteokbokki list is the longest in the emirate: classic rabokki and mozzarella cheese tteokbokki at AED 56, grilled beef tteokbokki AED 69, rose cream and rose mala at AED 71.50, and a hot pot rabokki for two at AED 91 that is cooked at your table and finished with fried rice in the same pan.
Boneless Korean fried chicken is AED 38 in six flavours, from golden original to a “volcano” sauce, with a whole fried tongdak at AED 71. Gimbap is AED 39 across seven fillings, and triangle kimbap is AED 14, the cheapest Korean dish on either menu. Ramen bowls run AED 32 to 46, bibimbap AED 56 to 62, and budae jjigae with rice AED 58.
The caveats: it is the pricier of the two on overlapping dishes, by AED 3 on a gimbap roll and AED 12 on black bean noodles. To its credit, the owner said in a Google review reply earlier this year that many prices had been reduced. It stays open until midnight, an hour later than its neighbour. Google lists it at 4.7 from 32 reviews. Phone +971-50-749-4410.
3. Mukbang Shows Deira — the grill option, in another emirate
We run Mukbang Shows, so read this entry with that in mind. It is third because it is not in Fujairah. Our nearest branch is on Al Ittihad Road in Port Saeed, Deira, 119 km from Al Faseel Street.
It is on this list for one reason: it is the nearest dedicated Korean BBQ house to the east coast, and the grilling is unlimited. The four tiers are Gangnam at AED 69 between 1 PM and 6 PM and AED 79 after, Daegu AED 89, Jeju AED 99 and Bukchon Hanok AED 129, each with seven BBQ kinds, eight banchan, soup and rice. The kitchen is 100 percent halal, beef and chicken only, with no alcohol. Phone +971-4-886-4494.
The limitation is obvious and we will not dress it up. It is about an hour and twenty-five minutes each way, the unlimited tiers need at least two people, and there is an AED 60 charge for food left on the table. For anything other than the grill, stay in Fujairah. Prices for everything else are on the full Mukbang menu.
Korean food prices in Fujairah compared
Both Fujairah kitchens are cheaper than our Deira branch on most à la carte dishes. That is the most useful number on this page, because it settles whether a Dubai drive is ever worth it for a plate of rice cakes. It is not.
| Venue | Area | Price AED | Halal | Standout order |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gimbap Korean Food Cafe | Al Faseel, Fujairah | 32–57 | No pork on published menu — confirm directly | Oxtail kkori gomtang with three sides and rice, AED 56 |
| KUA House Korean Restaurant | Sakamkam, Fujairah | 14–91 | Menu states halal sausage, no pork listed — confirm directly | Hot pot rabokki for two, AED 91 |
| Mukbang Shows Deira | Port Saeed, Dubai (119 km) | 69–129 unlimited | 100% halal, beef and chicken only | Gangnam unlimited BBQ tier, AED 69 before 6 PM |
And dish by dish, from each venue’s own published menu:
| Dish | Gimbap Cafe (AED) | KUA House (AED) | Mukbang Deira (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gimbap / kimbap roll | 32–36 | 39 | 41–48 |
| Tteokbokki | 43 (rose) | 56–71.50 | 55 |
| Black bean noodles | 40 | 52 | 55 |
| Jjampong | 50 | — | 60 |
| Bulgogi on rice | 46 | 52 | 66 |
| Bibimbap | Price on selection | 56–62 | 53–62 |
| Single-serve stew | 46–56 | 58 | 59 |
| Seafood pancake | 39 | — | 53 |
| Unlimited table-grill BBQ | — | — | 69–129 |
All figures are menu prices checked on 30 September 2026 and will move. Our own figures exclude 5 percent VAT and may vary slightly at Deira. The pattern will not: for a single dish, the best Korean food in Fujairah is also the cheapest option for anyone who lives there, before a dirham is spent on fuel.
Is there Korean BBQ in Fujairah?
No — not the table-grill kind. Neither Fujairah kitchen lists a grill-at-your-table barbecue on its published menu, and we found no unlimited Korean BBQ anywhere on the east coast.
The reason is the same one that holds across the northern emirates. Korean barbecue needs a grill and an extraction duct at every table, which is a fit-out cost a restaurant commits to before it sells a single meal. It only pays back if a large room fills most nights. A kitchen that does kimbap, stews and fried chicken needs a fryer, a few burners and a rice cooker, and can open in an ordinary shop unit.
What you can get locally is the flavour without the fire. Gimbap Korean Food Cafe does bulgogi three ways: in a roll at AED 36, over rice at AED 46 and as a bubbling pot with glass noodles at AED 51. KUA House does a grilled beef rice bowl at AED 61 and the tabletop hot pot rabokki, which is the closest thing in Fujairah to cooking at your own table.
One honest footnote for drivers. Happy Grassland, a hotpot buffet on the Buhaira Corniche in Al Majaz 3, Sharjah, includes a Korean BBQ station and is closer than Deira; MyBayut listed it at AED 69 per person earlier this year. It is one station on a pan-Asian buffet, not a Korean BBQ house, and we have not re-checked that price, so confirm before you go.

Is Mukbang Shows worth the drive from Fujairah?
Only as part of a Dubai trip, and only for the grill. Google Maps puts the run from Al Faseel Street to our Deira branch at 119 km and about 1 hour 23 minutes in normal traffic via the Sharjah–Kalba Road, the E102. The alternative through the E84 is 121 km and a minute longer. Call it close to three hours of driving for the round trip.
Nobody should do that for dinner alone, and the price table above shows why: our tteokbokki is AED 55 and our gimbap AED 41 to 48, which is more than either Fujairah kitchen charges. Driving to Deira for those would be a bad trade.
The case for it is narrower. If you are already heading to Dubai for the airport, a mall day or a weekend, the Deira branch is on the Sharjah side of the city, so it does not add a cross-town drive. It opens at 13:00 Monday to Thursday and 12:00 Friday to Sunday, and closes at 01:00.
Go with at least two people, because the unlimited tiers have a two-person minimum. Start on the Gangnam tier rather than upgrading blind. It is AED 69 if you sit down between 1 PM and 6 PM and AED 79 after that, which is worth knowing before you time a long drive around dinner. All four tiers come with the same eight banchan; the higher tiers change the cuts of meat, not the side dishes.
Our guide to what Korean BBQ costs in Dubai breaks the tiers down, and how a Korean BBQ table works covers the etiquette.
Is Korean food in Fujairah halal?
Confirm directly with each kitchen. Neither one’s halal certification is something we could verify independently, so we will not assert it either way.
Here is what the published menus actually show. Neither Talabat menu lists a pork dish or an alcoholic drink. KUA House describes its budae jjigae, a stew that traditionally uses processed pork, as made with “halal sausage” and beef slices. Gimbap Korean Food Cafe uses chicken sausage in its kimbap and builds its soups on chicken, beef and oxtail.
That is what the menus say, and it is not the same thing as a certificate. If it matters to you, ask the specific questions: what goes into the broth, what the sausage is, and whether the fryer is shared. A straight answer to those tells you more than a sticker on the door.
At Mukbang Shows the answer is simple because we control it: every branch is 100 percent halal, beef and chicken only, no pork and no alcohol on the premises.
Where to buy Korean groceries in Fujairah
Two shops, which is one more than most people expect. Kua Mart, a Korean and Asian supermarket, is next door to KUA House in Sakamkam. Google lists it at 4.6 from 85 reviews and open until midnight, and reviewers describe noodles, snacks, sauces, ice cream and the makings of a hot pot. Its phone is 09 606 2833.
Easy Peasy Mart, in Al Faseel, is listed by Google as a Korean grocery store with a 5.0 rating from 54 reviews. Older reviews mention staff cooking instant noodles for you to eat in. We could not confirm that is still offered, so treat it as a maybe. Its phone is 050 132 8190.
Neither shop publishes a product list, so ring ahead before a special trip for one ingredient. For a home cook on the east coast, though, two Korean grocers inside the city is a better position than most of the northern emirates are in.
What should you order if you are new to Korean food?
Start with whatever each kitchen is built around. The best Korean food in Fujairah is split between two menus that barely overlap in what they do well, so the order depends on which door you walk through.
At Gimbap Korean Food Cafe, order a pot. Yuk gae jang is a spicy shredded-beef soup with glass noodles. Dak gomtang is its mild opposite, a clear chicken broth. Kkori gomtang is oxtail simmered until the broth turns milky. Each comes with rice and three side dishes, so one pot is a complete meal for one.
At KUA House, order tteokbokki. These are chewy cylinders of rice cake in a sweet, spicy gochujang sauce. Rose versions add cream and are milder. Rabokki adds ramen noodles to the same pan. Pair it with boneless fried chicken if you want something crisp against the sauce.
Anywhere, add a roll. Gimbap, which both menus also spell kimbap, is seasoned rice and fillings rolled in seaweed and sliced. It is served at room temperature, travels well and costs less than anything else on either menu.

A note on heat. Korean chilli is more sweet and slow than sharp. If you are cautious, the clear soups, the jjajang black bean noodles, the vegetable and potato pancakes and plain fried chicken carry no chilli heat.
Where to find it, area by area
Al Faseel is the district to know. The National’s Fujairah city-centre food and travel guide describes the Corniche stretch here as the city’s “most energetic social scene”. Gimbap Korean Food Cafe is on Al Faseel Street, and Easy Peasy Mart is in the same district.
Sakamkam, just west, holds KUA House and Kua Mart side by side. Google spells the area “Skamkam” and Talabat “Sakamkam”; it is the same place.
Dibba and Khor Fakkan have no Korean restaurant that we could find. From either, Fujairah city is the nearest option.
Deira, Dubai is the grill, 119 km west. If you are driving that way anyway, Sharjah’s Korean cafés are on the way in. See our honest guide to Korean food in Sharjah and the Ajman guide for those, and where unlimited Korean BBQ sits for the northern emirates for the grill question.
One thing to plan around: Fujairah has no metro, and the Dubai Metro does not reach it. Fujairah is the only emirate entirely on the Gulf of Oman, with the Hajar Mountains between it and everything else, so this guide assumes you are driving.
Practical tips
Check the size before you compare prices. “Price on selection” on Talabat means the dish comes in more than one size. Tap in before deciding Gimbap Korean Food Cafe has no tteokbokki price; it does, it just depends on the portion.
Use the pots for solo meals. A stew with rice and three sides at AED 46 to 56 is the best-value single-person Korean meal in the emirate. Nothing at KUA House or in Deira matches it for one diner.
Use KUA House late. It is listed open until midnight, an hour after Gimbap Korean Food Cafe closes. Confirm on the day, as hours on listings drift.
Order the hot pot rabokki for two, not one. At AED 91 it is priced and portioned for a pair, and the fried rice finish is part of the point.
Do not drive to Dubai hungry and alone. Our unlimited tiers need two people. A solo diner in Deira is ordering à la carte at prices higher than Fujairah’s.
Treat the AED 60 leftover charge seriously. It applies to food ordered and not eaten, and it stings more after three hours in the car. Order in small rounds.
