Korean BBQ on Muroor Road, Abu Dhabi

Mukbang Shows Muroor is the original Abu Dhabi branch, open since 2021 on Sultan Bin Zayed The First Street, better known as Muroor Road, directly opposite Emirates Grand Market. Every table has a built-in grill, and every menu is all-you-can-eat: you pick a set, we keep bringing marinated beef, chicken and seafood until you say stop.

The cooking is Korean, not fusion. Bulgogi, LA galbi, thin-sliced brisket and dak galbi chicken go straight onto the grill, then get wrapped in lettuce with ssamjang and a pile of banchan. Everything is halal, so families, colleagues and mixed groups can share one table without checking the menu twice.

All-you-can-eat sets and happy hour

Happy hour runs every day from 1PM to 6PM, when the Gangnam set drops to AED 69 per person. The four sets are:

• Gangnam – AED 69 during happy hour (1PM–6PM), AED 79 after 6PM. 7 kinds of halal BBQ (beef, chicken and seafood), 8 banchan, 2 gimbap rolls, soup and steamed rice, all refilled.
• Daegu – AED 89 all day. Everything in Gangnam plus Korean fried chicken.
• Jeju – AED 99 all day. Everything in Gangnam plus the signature seafood boil.
• Bukchon Hanok – AED 129 all day. Everything in Gangnam plus the seafood boil and Korean fried chicken.

Prices are per person and exclude 5% VAT. Minimum two people per table, no sharing, and an AED 60 leftover charge applies, so order what you will finish.

• By car: Muroor Road runs the length of the island, so we are a straight drive from Al Nahyan, Al Wahda, Al Mushrif and the Corniche. Street parking is available around the restaurant and on the side roads behind it.
• By bus: Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station is a few minutes away and most Muroor Road routes stop within walking distance.
• Landmarks: Al Wahda Mall, Al Jazira Sports Club and the Abu Dhabi Bus Station are all close by.

Good to know before you visit

• 100% halal: beef, chicken and seafood only. No pork and no alcohol anywhere on the menu.
• Hours: Open Monday to Thursday 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM and Friday to Sunday 12:00 PM – 1:00 AM.
• Groups: large tables can be joined for birthdays, office dinners and family gatherings. Book ahead for parties of eight or more.
• Drinks: bubble tea, fresh juices, Korean soft drinks and hot tea.
• Payment: cards and Qlub table payment are accepted.

Beyond the grill

If you are not in a BBQ mood, the à la carte menu covers bibimbap, jjampong, tteokbokki, gimbap and the hot and spicy seafood boil that Muroor is known for. Korean fried chicken is fried to order and comes plain, sweet-spicy yangnyeom or soy garlic.
